Converse CX Footwear Collection
In order to keep consumers satisfied and remain relevant, there’s no doubt continuous research and improvement of the brand are needed in a market with tons of options to choose from. Clearly, the Converse brand is no rookie in this area. The over century-old footwear maker recognizes the need for improvement and this time makes it very clear, loud and bold with this new line of disruptive innovative footwear design dubbed the Converse CX.
Now, don’t get this impressive piece of footwear magic mixed up with other rival brands that are only trying to show off some color. This is no ordinary new look design, Converse hit the footwear market after years of research with the CX collection to redefine comfort, wearability, style and of course quality. The innovation incorporates a novel stretch canvas material to suit the wearer’s foot, delivering the wearability ease. What’s more, it’s okay if you regularly take long walks and spend the entire day in your shoes, the Converse CX has got you covered thanks to its unique CX-foam material with guaranteed impact absorption as you move from place to place.
Unlike the TPR (ThermoPlastic Rubber) that comes with some other brand of footwear, the CX material pairs single density PU (polyurethane) insole to a light-weight phylon midsole translating to long-lasting comfort, durability, water, and abrasion resistance. Furthermore, the CX foam is then complemented by an outsole design exquisitely finished by the Converse color team providing added style and durability.
It’s also worth adding that the CX lines are launched with three unique designs that include the All Star Disrupt CX with the boldest look of the trio. Its exaggerated statement heel counter doesn’t just scream style but also quality. Secondly, the Chuck Taylor Disrupt CX, a simple low cut slip with no lace yet packs the exaggerated heel counter like the All star disrupt CX. What’s more, the Chuck Taylor All Star CX retains the ever classic converse look and is also equipped with the material upgrades that CX offers.
A further addition to the trio above is a collaboration from footwear innovator, Takahiro Miyashita the Soloist dubbed the Converse X TheSoloist All Star Disrupt CX. This one comes with an even more menacing look incorporating the exaggerated CX heel counter design. What’s more, the two-color design is an all-white and all-black shoes giving it that extra cool look for that perfect showoff. All three CX lines including the collaboration with Takahiro Miyashita the Soloist come a bit pricey but are worth every penny.
