Women tend to be more prone to developing bunions due to high-heeled shoes which further aggravate this problem as they push toes down as well as cramming them together. High heels are fine, once in a while. However, for everyday use you should invest in comfortable shoes with a wider toe box.

Much of the pain you experience when you have bunions is due to the joint and tissue surrounding the bunions becoming inflamed. This pain can feel especially worse if you’ve been on your feet all day. Don’t suffer through the pain. Take some over the counter inflammatory medication like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
